Sterling Silver Lee Begay Navajo Cuff Bracelet

Item Details

A Lee Begay sterling silver Navajo cuff bracelet. The bracelett is wide with a slight raised edge to each side, having a Yei Kachina dancer and petroglyph patterns cast into the metal. It features a rectangular Sleeping Beauty turquoise stone measuring 11.5mm x 5.2mm, inset with a smaller piece of red coral measuring 4.5mm x 5mm. To the inside are a smaller series of dancers and symbols; it is not marked .925. It is marked ‘LEE / ’10’. Begay is part of a family tradition of fine sterling craftsmen using the tufa casting method for making his unique jewelry. Please see attached link for additional information on the artist.
