Sterling Silver Philander Begay Navajo Cuff Bracelet
Item Details
A wide, textured sterling silver Philander Begay Navajo cuff bracelet. The cuff features an embossed and textured ground featuring an image of a Kachina dancer and what is likely an incense pot to either side of a spiderweb turquoise stone set in silver. It was made using the tufa casting method. It is marked ‘Philander B. Begay’ with the artist’s signature; it is not marked as .925 sterling. Philander Begay is part of a family of skilled and renowned Navajo silversmiths and jewelers.
