Marx Tin Toy of Doughboy Gunner in Tank

A 1949 Marx Toys WWI clockwork tank with doughboy gunner, the tin toy is marvelously detailed in pale khaki shade with lithograph detail. The toy winds with key present, start / stop switch allows toy to advance forward with gunner rising to take aim from hinged hatch. Toy then does an ‘about face’, turning and running the opposite direction.The toy originally had a flint with sparking action. Marked ‘Marx Toys, Made in the United States of America’.
