An English made mahogany Reprodux Bevan Funnell secretary. Features a double arch crown molding top over a glass front cabinet with double doors. The doors feature Chippendale style criss crossed panes and close with an included key. The top cabinet features two shelves for storage. The fine furniture details of this cabinet include the matched flame mahogany veneers throughout and cockbeading on the drawers and dovetail joinery. A slanted flame mahogany front folds down to reveal a leather topped writing shelf and interior cubbies and drawers. A small cabinet is concealed by an door decorated with an inset urn in an oval of flame mahogany veneer. This cabinet rests over two single drawers with brass round bails and pulls and three double drawers with pairs of the same bails and pulls. The entire piece rests on carved bracket feet. One drawer features the tag marked Reprodux, Traditional English Furniture made by Bevan Funnell Ltd., England.
