Antique Haviland For Fort Worth Dinnerware Set
Item Details
An antique Haviland for Fort Worth China Co. dinnerware set. Set includes six dinner plates, three platters, two handled lidded serving bowls, four bread plates, five tea cups and eight saucers. The cups set features delicate pink flowers and branches and a purple lattice design with pink and purple flowers. Features a green underglaze mark by Haviland & Co. and an overglaze decorator mark ‘Haviland & Co Limoges for Fort Worth China Co, Fort Worth, Texas.’ The Fort Worth China Co filed to become a business on December 21, 1883, and likely purchased blanks from Haviland to decorate in house. These dishes were likely produced between 1888 and 1896. See companion piece, item number #16AUS016-007.
