An antique Haviland for Fort Worth China Co. tea set. Set includes six teacups and saucers and five matching small plates. The cups feature gold luster handle and decorate gold luster border to the inside rims, and delicate pink flowers and branches to the outside. Saucers and plates have a purple lattice design with pink and purple flowers and branches to the rims. Features a green underglaze mark by Haviland & Co. and an overglaze decorator mark ‘Haviland & Co Limoges for Fort Worth China Co, Fort Worth, Texas’. The Fort Worth China Co filed to become a business on December 21, 1883, and likely purchased blanks from Haviland to decorate in house. These dishes were likely produced between 1888 and 1896.
