Erté "Ebony in White" Serigraph on Paper
Item Details
A serigraph on paper, ‘Ebony in White’ by Erté (1892-1990). Erté was born Roman Petrovich Tyrtov, to a distinguished military family in St. Petersburg, Russia. He would go on to an illustrious career as a costume, set designer, artist and illustrator working on The Follies Bergère, The Ziegfeld Follies and for publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Ladies Home Journal, Cosmopolitan and Vogue. The fine art poster is hand signed by the artist. Matted in black with a red fillet, and framed behind glass in a silver painted wood frame. The seller has provided a Certificate of Authenticity.
Condition
Good. Wear consistent use. There is a small chip in the frame.
