Eastlake Mahogany Pier Mirror Circa 1890's
Item Details
An Eastlake pier mirror circa 1890’s. THe piece has a mahogany finish with a scalloped crest that lowers to an acanthus leaf design. The sides of the frame are accented with acorn finials that frame the foliage design below the crest. The piece rests on a piece of pink marble with the bas have two sides open for storage and reveal some geometric patterns engraved into the wood with turned finials below. Between the open panels is a floral motif and rest on a circular pierced fretwork. The piece rests on a plinth base with an ogee edge. The piece is unmarked by the manufacturer.
Condition
The bottom section of the piece has some fading from the sun.
