A brass table easel with an overall traditional design. The crest depicts a woman with with a shell motif headress that lowers to an acanthus leaf and scrollwork design. The front legs taper outward with floral nodes connecting to the stretchers. The shelf has a scalloped edge and lowers to a central medallion featuring a mans face with an acanthus leaf design lowers to claw style feet. The piece is unmarked by the manufacturer.
