An original 1827 hand-colored engraving by 19th century French engraver L.M. Lanté, titled Femme de Coutances en négligé. The print is plate number 78 from the artist’s publication Costumes de femmes du pays de Caux. The print depicts a side view of a female figure with a pastoral landscape to the background. Presented behind glass in a crackled silver tone wooden frame with pale blue and off-white double matting, wire to the verso.

- very light discoloring and creasing.
