Antique American Machine Co. Fluting Iron
Item Details
An antique fluting iron, circa 1875, made by the American Machine Co. out of Philadelphia, PA. The iron is wrought iron with a wooden handle and has impressed markers mark ‘Eagle’ to top. Operated with a crank this tool would’ve been used to press pleats and flutes into fabric. Pat. date Nov. 2, 1875.
