Danbury Mint 14K Gold Presidential Portrait Medals in Display Box

A limited edition ‘Portraits of the Presidents’ 14K yellow gold medal collection issued by The Danbury Mint, circa 1980s. Each coin features a portrait bust with year of birth and death to one side and the presidential seal with years in office to the reverse. There are thirty-nine (39) medals in the set showcasing presidents George Washington to Jimmy Carter. An additional, smaller sized 14K gold medal of Reagan is also included, but not part of the set, for a total of forty (40) coins overall. The set is presented in a wood display case with blue felt holder and hinged Plexiglas top. Purchase receipts included.

• This item has been tested and verified by an independent GIA graduate gemologist. (3-5 coins were chosen at random and tested positive as 14K gold)

- Reagan coin is 16 mm with approximate weight of 0.6 dwt.
