"A Young Girl Defending Herself Against Eros" Reproduction After William Adolphe Bouguereau

A reproduction oil painting after French Artist William Adolphe Bouguereau (1825-1905) titled A Young Girl Defending Herself Against Eros. The original oil on canvas painting was created around 1880 and hangs in The Getty Museum. This painting depicts a nude woman with her arms outstretched, pushing away Cupid as he lifts an arrow towards her. It is signed illegibly in the lower left corner and presents in a heavily carved baroque style giltwood frame with a wire on the verso for hanging.
