Mezzotint Engraving after Thomas Lawrence "Le Roi de Rome"

A hand-tinted antique mezzotint engraving by Hel. Braun. and Co. after an original painting by very well-listed English portrait painter Thomas Lawrence (1769-1830), titled Le Roi de Rome or King of Rome. The piece depicts a simple bust of the young Napoleon François Charles Joseph Bonaparte. The piece was printed in sepia-toned ink and has soft hand-coloring. The artist’s names and the piece’s title are printed in the margins. The print is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with gold tone finish.
