An original 1976 ink marker drawing by contemporary hyper-Realist artist Coulter Watt (1945-). The piece depicts a simple sketch-like drawing of a large sailboat at sea. It is signed and dated in ink to the lower right. It is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a hanging wire. Watt was born in Louisville, Kentucky and later attended The School of Visual Arts in New York City. He has since had works displayed in museums and exhibitions across the world, including the Sherry French Gallery in New York City and The Smithsonian Institutions Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC.
