A Tianex Russian fairy tale collector’s plate from 1988. This series of plates is designed after the Russian fairy tales depicted on the black lacquer boxes from the Russian village of Palekh. This plated depicts the fairy tale of ‘Rusland and Ludmilla’ by the artist Leonidiovich Belous. The title and story are recorded on the reverse of the plate in Russian. The plate comes with a black display stand.
