An Engel signed oil painting of a winter river landscape. The image is a wide snow covered vista with mountains in the distance, a cabin in the mid-ground and a frozen river in the foreground. It is stark painted in cool tones with textured grass tufts and trees strewn throughout. Signed in the lower right corner it is painted on canvas and set in a tiered washed oak frame. There is a wire for hanging on the back and it is circa 1990s.
