A pair of matching AOG (all over gold) gilt and decorated after Meissen Charlottenbrunn (1866-1920, Germany -Silesia) double handled serving platters with blue crossed swords under glaze. It is decorated with a hand painted center medallion of peonies on a sculptural platter molded with stylized maple leaves. The matched set comes with two. The factory closed in 1920 and they specialized in porcelain pipes for industry and made only a few house ware items. Circa 4th century quarter 19th century.
