A signed limited edition colored woodcut by Jun’ichiro Sekino (1914-88), an established Japanese artist with works housed in museums internationally who is known for his technical capabilities as a print maker. The woodcut depicts a white rooster shielding the body of another bird perching on a branch in hues of yellow, neutral olive, brown and black. The work is signed in pencil and stamped in red ink to the bottom right corner and is mounted to an antique-white mat.
