An original Portrait of a Rabbi by Anne Fleckenstein. This original portrait painting depicts a bearded bespectacled man staring off into the void wearing a large white collar and black shirt with a dark background. Painting is done in broad brushstrokes and is shrink wrapped onto a flat board.

• Anne Fleckenstein (born ca. 1850) was a German born artist who studied in Dusseldorf and lived in Dresden prior to immigrating to the United States in the early 20th C. Provenance: Relative of consignor.

Condition

Good condition consistent with age. Some wear alone the edges
