A Carol Lucero-Gachupin Native American storyteller. Carol Lucero-Gachupin (1958 – ) is a Jemez pottery maker who works in the traditional hand coiled techniques. The Navajo/Hopi style storytellers have the traditional open mouth on the central figure who is surrounded by children. Gachupin’s have the detail of the blanket wrapped around the figure in all of her pieces. The bottom is signed by the artist.
