A Presley LaFountain steatite figure of a woman. Presley LaFountain is a sculptor from the Turtle Mountain Chippewa tribe in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Since 2002, due to an accident, the artist has been unable to make large scale works, making this piece rare and collectible. This work is signed on the back and dated 1998. The alabaster sits on an oval wooden base.
