An 1825 hardcover volume collecting the issues of two late 18th century newspapers, both published in Edinburgh, Scotland: The Mirror (1779 and 1780) and The Lounger (1785 and 1786). Both feature articles written in the first person, with most seeming to be about high society and the author’s social activities, or about culture (reviews of plays, etc.), along with letters sent in to the editor.
