Exotic Import Carved Cabinet

Item Details

An exotic carved cabinet. The large wood cabinet originated from India and is made of beautiful elm wood, with elaborate carved details around the opening of a large open cabinet. The back of the cabinet is drilled with a hole for television and electronic equipment cords. Below the open cabinet is a deep shelf, and below that, a pair of drawers with wood knobs. To the left and right of the pair of drawers are small carved wood insets. The side of the cabinet features open, jigsaw-cut slats, in stylized flower patterns. The age of this piece is unknown, and there are no maker’s marks.
