A signed and numbered artist’s proof serigraph on heavy paper by Howard Behrens (Chicago 1933-2014) colorfully illustrating a lovely vacation destination. The hand embellished serigraph depicts in vibrant colo a bay, beach, Mediterranean style buildings with red roofs and tropical trees. Numbered in the lower left ‘AP 70/75’ and signed by the artist in the lower right, the serigraph is presented in a beige linen mat with a fuchsia liner and finished in a thin gold metal frame.
Howard Behrens specialized in hand embellished serigraphs that he enhanced using the palette knife and his travels were his inspiration.
