Vintage Elgin Gold Filled Pocket Watch, Chain, and Knife

A vintage Elgin gold filled pocket watch, chain, and knife, circa the early 1900s. This particular Elgin watch was only created between the years 1903 and 1927 with a total of 2,000 of these pocket watches ever produced. The pocket watch features a shield emblem surrounded by various foliate and scroll motifs, which is embossed onto either side of the exterior casing and is attached to a long chain with a small pocket knife on the other end. The knife features two small blades that fold outward with the initials ‘HRA’ engraved into the exterior of one side and also features markings stamped to the keychain loop that is attached to the knife, which reads, ‘Lestage 1/20 12K G.F. U.S.A.’ The case number is 8096213. The movement number is 16635165.

• This item has been tested and verified by an independent GIA graduate gemologist.

Condition

- Not running at time of cataloging. Lid to pocket watch won’t stay latched closed.
