It depicts a woman in a grey and white dress with a peacock on her shoulder, his tail feathers hanging down her back to her knees. She holds the bird in place with one hand, while the other hand holds the sash of her dress. She is captured mid-walk, looking to the left, with her dress tailing behind her. Made of Capodimonte porcelain and marked with the blue N and crown maker’s mark. Marked 0002/5000.
