1978 Buckin Ball Best Costume Belt Buckle from Cow Palace

Item Details

A Western style belt buckle presented for the best costume at the 1978 Cow Palace Buckin Ball. The buckle is primarily made of a heavily engraved silver plate base with rope form edging and lettering in blue enamel. The center of the buckle is highlighted by a gold tone jack-o-lantern. The carved features of the jack-o-lantern reveal an orange painted interior. The buckle is engraved, ‘Buckin Ball Best Costume Cow Palace 1978 Sponsor Yavapai Trading Co.’. The reverse of the buckle appears to be stamped ‘GIST SIERRA SILVER 1/1010M’.
