A shield form walnut and brass plaque presented to Tanya Tucker in 1972 for her song Delta Dawn by The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. The following text is inscribed on the plaque, ‘The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers Proudly Presents This Award Of Merit To Tanya Tucker For Her Outstanding Country and Western Song Delta Dawn.’ The bottom of the plaque is also inscribed, ‘Nashville, Tennessee, October 18, 1972’. The reverse of the plaque has a blue and white label from Southern Trophy House, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee.
