Lot includes an illustrated children’s Ohio history book, History of Ohio in Words of One Syllable by Annie Cole Cady, 1888, Belford, Clarke & Co. of New York, Chicago and San Francisco, first edition, and a copy of Songs of Ohio State University published 1916 by Hinds, Hayden & Eldridge, Inc. of Philadelphia, New York, and Chicago. ‘Songs of Ohio’ is a first edition, based on an earlier collection ‘Songs of the Scarlet and Gray’, expanded with new material. Includes a carbon copy of a letter to legendary Ohio State coach Woody Hayes from Cincinnati lawyer Larz R. Hammel, dated 1976.
