An acrylic portrait painting by artist Grace Dredge Reasoner (American,1895-1980). This painting depicts an anonymous male subject in a dark suit coat, white collared shirt and multicolored cravat on a mottled orange background. The artist’s name is painted in script near the top left, ‘Grace D. Reasoner, 1962’. Reasoner was known for her portrait paintings and has several works housed at the Harvard University Art Museum. This painting comes mounted in a carved natural wood frame.
