Ben Shahn Limited Edition Lithograph "Birds Over The City"
Item Details
An original limited edition lithograph by Ben Shahn (1898 – 1969), an American artist originally from Lithuania, titled Birds Over The City. This work, completed in 1968, depicts several grey birds on a white background over a stylized cityscape. There is a large black outline of a face over the birds and the buildings below have a few windows filled with bright red, yellow and blue tones. The work is signed to the lower right and numbered to the lower left, 67/135. The rough edged paper of the print is framed by white matting and is housed in a silver toned wood frame.
