Cleo Zanello Pair of Still Lifes
Item Details
A pair of still life works by Brazilian artist Cleo Zanello (born 1923). These works, believed to be ink negatives on canvas that have been etched and erased to create the images both depict grouping of pears on flat backgrounds. They are both signed to the lower right corner, ‘C. Zanello’. To the back the text reads, ‘Natura Morta’, ‘olio 30 × 42’ and ‘olio 30 × 40’ and the date, ‘1973’. Both works come matted in white wood and in white wood frames.
