W.B. Cooke Engraving After Work by I. Gibbs "Centra"

An engraving by English engraving artist William Bernard Cooke (1778–1855) after a drawing by I. Gibbs of Bath titled, Centra. This work, published in London in 1828 by Trenttell, Wurtz & Co of Soho Square, depicts a village nestled at the base of a mountain with two seated figures in the foreground. There is text below the image, detailing the artists and the publishers. The engraving comes matted in off white and in a wood frame with carved details.
