An offset lithograph poster after work by Japanese artist Utagawa Hiroshige (歌川 広重, 1797-1858) titled Sudden Shower over the Ohashi Bridge near Atake. This poster commemorates a showing of Hiroshige’s ‘prints, drawings, and paintings’ at the Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art held from Nov. 1975-March 1976. The work depicts several stooped figures crossing a trellised bridge over a river in a downpour. The poster comes framed in a bronze colored metal frame ready to hang.
