Islamic Style Copper Quran Box

Item Details

An Islamic style Quran box. It is a copper metal box with an oblong octagonal shape. It rests on four small feet and has two circular handles on the short ends. The hinged lid has a domed embellishment in the center that is fashioned to resemble a tortoise shell. The dome has a brass spindle shaped finial. The interior is etched with small linear designs.
