A collection of three Johann Gunter Walldurn-Baden eternal candles. These candles were designed by Johann Gunter from the Town of Waldurn in Baden West Germany. One was made to commemorate the United States’ Bicentennial in 1976 and depicts Revolutionary War fife and drum corps marching with the Colonial flag, the other side is a depiction of the Liberty Bell and the whole candle sits on a four legged pedestal carved to resemble tree bark. Another candle depicts a man writing in bed surrounded by stacks of books and an open umbrella above his head, the other side is a panorama view of the room and the whole candle sits on a three legged metal stand. The other candle depicts four scenes of German artisans working on their various crafts. All three of the candles have a removable head and a replaceable candle inset.
