Vintage Louis XV Style WIng Chair

Item Details

A vintage Louis XV style wIng chair. The walnut chair has a ribbon and floral crest with beaded and rope turned moulding, finely formed and shaped segmented wings with enclosed foliate, curved arms. The cabriole legs have acanthus carved knees and a single scalloped shell on the apron with foliate detail. A striated green, silk, jacquard with floral detail depicts animals such as monkeys, cheetahs, rabbits and porcupines. There is a loose down seat cushion and was previously upholstered by Home Beautiful of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
