A Federal style carved mahogany armchair. The chair features carved detailing throughout, with foliate design to the armrest supports and floral detailing to the legs and top of the back frame. A rope pattern is carved lining to the oval seat back and apron of the chair. Upholstered to the seat back, armrests, and seat in red floral fabric. Stands on four reeded legs.

- condition consistent with age and use. Wear to the finish. Slight repair to the chair back. Scratching to the legs from use.
