An original 1998 acrylic on board painting by well-listed Cincinnati artist Harry Reisiger (1922-2009), titled_Landscape_. The painting depicts an abstracted view of a layered landscape, featuring bright, loose brushstrokes of blues, greens, oranges, reds, and purples. The painting is signed in paint to the lower left. It is presented in a modern-style pale wooden frame with white linen lining. A wire is attached to the verso for hanging, along with a sticker from the artist’s estate giving the piece’s date, title, and dimensions. Reisiger studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy and University of Cincinnati; he studied under and shared a studio with Cincinnati great Paul Chidlaw.
