Antique 1830s French Louis Philippe Sideboard

Item Details

An antique French sideboard from the 1830s. This Louis Philippe sideboard is made of solid poplar wood and has a peg and mitered top over four drawers and four cabinet doors. The dovetail drawers have a curved face with small round brass pulls. The inlay paneled doors have small brass escutcheon plates and open to reveal storage running the full width of the cabinet. The sideboard rests on curved bracket feet with one set in the center. The top can be removed using tools to pry the pegs out. This will need to be done for removal of the item from the premises.
