Antique Japanese Blue and White Imari Bowl Set
Item Details
An antique late 19th century or early 20th century Japanese Imari bowl set. This set includes four bowls ranging in size from 11’ round to 6’ round. They each bear the same blue and with painted designs consisting of mountainous landscapes with trees and small buildings. There is a band of repetitive stylized florals around the inner lip and a band of linear design to the lower outer edge at the foot. Each bowl is marked ‘Aoki’ (青) to the underside.
