Vintage Student Violin With Case
Item Details
A vintage student violin with case. The violin is finished in light and dark maple varnish and includes the chin rest, tailpiece with one fine tuner, the bridge with ebony inlay, and four steel strings. A half-lined bow is included in the beige-tone vintage case. Sticker reads, ‘Model Antonius Stradivarius Cremonenfais Faciebat Anno 17.’
Condition
- to fair, the bow is missing the half-lined inlay and is inoperable as-is. The instrument appears to be in good condition, with minimal work needed to have the instrument be playable. Scratches and rosin residue to the finish, no visible cracks. Condition consistent with age and use. Consultation with a luthier or trained technician is recommended.
