Utagawa Hiroshige "Odawara" Woodblock Restrike

A vintage Japanese woodblock restrike after a work titled Odawara by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858). Hiroshige is considered by many to be the penultimate master of one of the world’s greatest traditions of printmaking. The original print dates to 1840-42 and is part of a series titled Fifty-Three Stations of the Tôkaidô Road. The print is marked to the top right and left. It is set in a gilt and black frame with a fabric mat.
