Vintage Italian Wood Canon and Bronzini Soldier Bottle Holders
Item Details
A pair of vintage Italian wood bottle holders in the form of a cannon and a solider. The wooden soldier, thought to be after Napoleon, includes a removable cap to hold a bottle, by Bronzini, Italy, circa 1940s. The soldier’s cap is marked ‘Bronzini,’ and the base is marked ‘Italy.’ The wooden painted cannon includes a removable firing end to conceal a bottle, but is only marked ‘Italy’ on the base. Both are painted in bold colors.
