Antique Royalrobe Steamer Trunk, Circa 1900

Item Details

A vintage Royalrobe steamer trunk, used by John Strader, circa 1900. This tan trunk with stripes includes dark edge banding, brass locks and is monogrammed ‘J.S’. The exterior lock rotates to open. Once open, the left compartment includes a piece of fabric that lefts to reveal the hanging compartment below in the upright case. It is finished in a maroon paper interior. The right compartment includes five locking drawers. Drawers are locked until top drawer is removed and lever is turned to the right to release the locking mechanism. Keys are included.
