An original oil floral still life on canvas signed by New York artist, CR Breslin. Warm, rich orange, blue, gold and poppy hues juxtaposed with a mountainous landscape framed by a window. The piece is framed in a gilded wood frame with gesso leaf molding in corners. Born in 1900 Utica New York and came to the city in 1925 , the artist studied at the Art Students League. He specialized in floral studies and is noted for the full rich paint colors in his works.
Condition
Good, small area where some plaster has chipped on the corner
