Am original signed Artist’s Proof hand-pulled lithograph by well-listed Chinese Modernist Chao Chung-Hsiang (1910-1991). The image depicts two common themes of Chung-Hsiang’s work; targets and birds. This particular piece depicts two adult birds and chick standing at the base as a bright target rests above them. Solvents were added to areas of the ink to give them a fluid, dripping texture. The print is signed and labeled ‘A.P.’ in pencil in the lower margin. It is presented behind glass in a thin silver tone metal frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso.
