Item Details
An art of the gambler duo. The duo includes two shadow box frames, filled with items related to old-time gambling. A large oak wood-framed shadow box has a black fabric background to which are pinned a hand of cards (a ‘straight flush’), some poker chips, a replica of a fancy Sharps Derringer pistol, a vintage photographic print of William Barclay ‘Bat’ Masterson, who is wearing a white bowler, and a short history of Masterson’s life. A smaller oak wood framed shadow box is lined with a red woven jute fabric, and contains a pair of reproduction gold-tone coins, a hand of cards (a ‘full house’), and a small reproduction Derringer pistol with a wood-look grip and silver-tone metal barrel.
