J. Skop Original Vintage Ink Drawing "Still Life"

An original 1957 ink and ink wash drawing on paper, titled Still Life. The drawing depicts a table set with a bottle, goblet, bowl of fruit, and trinket box drawn with delicate cross-hatching shaded with soft ink washes. The drawing is titled, dated, and signed ‘J. Skop’ in the lower margin, though no information can be found about this artist. The drawing is matted in white and presented behind glass in a black wooden frame with gold tone interior trim. A sawtooth hanger is attached to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- light discoloration across matting, including an odd blue stain to the left edge. Light scratching on frame.
